Chris Ermer
A graduate of Neshaminy High School, Chris returned to the Bucks County area after studying American History and Philosophy at the University of Delaware. While interning at Historic Fallsington he was expected to, among other things, keep track of the Hi-Lo contest numbers on WBCB. The radio at the offices of the historic house museum were always set to 1490 AM. After picking up a prize pack a conversation led to an opportunity to engineer Skip Clayton’s ‘Racing Wrap’ and fill-in on some over-night shifts. Since that serendipitous start in 1998 Chris has been involved in everything from sales and promotions to engineering and production. He has hosted ‘Album Sides at Eleven’ Tuesday Nights for more than a decade and as part of the engineering department has been an important part of more than 1,000 broadcasts. In addition to WBCB Chris has provided audio engineering for WPHT, WNPV, WPRB, WRRC, WHWH, CN8 and WMCN. When not on the radio Chris provides public communications consultation for Harvest Group Financial Services in Langhorne, DJ’s the occasional event and instructs Tai Chi at Attleboro Village. He is the V.P. and on the Board of Trustees of the U.U.F.L.B. Most of all, Chris enjoys being at home in Bensalem spending time with his wife and daughter.
