Unlike many other radio stations that program country, the “Country Music Hall” showcases all types of the genre from the modern sounds of Diamond Rio, Garth Brooks and Martina McBride to the music of Ray Price, Hank Williams, Sr., Bill Anderson and other legends of the Grand Ole Opry along with a great mix of authentic Lafayette, Louisiana style Cajun, Kentucky fried Bluegrass and a distinct blend of country Gospel, it’s America’s music at its best. Bill Melody is a former entertainment writer for Calkin’s Newspapers. He is a professional musician as well as a free lance artist, cartoonist and writer. Melody us a former public relations director for the Shriners Organization of Southern New Jersey. He produced shows featuring Grand Ole Opry performers for more than ten years for the Shriners. He is also a member of the Circle Club of the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Association (CMA) both in Nashville, Tennessee. Bill has been a member of the WBCB family since 1993.

Bill Melody passed away on October 31st, 2012.
